In today’s day in age, flowers are viewed to be a gift of second thought and bought without much consideration. If any, people tend to gravitate towards the ones that look the prettiest or the most fresh. But no one really thinks about the ‘type’ of flower they are choosing or the meaning behind the flower itself. If flowers are being cut to bring visual satisfaction, or objectified as just gifts, shouldn’t one at least think about why this specific flower/s? One might learn that it conveys an unexpected message.
