During the Wix Design Playground program, I’ve worked alongside two other colleagues and had the privilege in re-branding one of New York City’s local nonprofit organizations. Flex Dance Program provides free mentorship and dance lessons to many kids, including incarcerated kids who are in and out of detention centers.
Our goal was to bring the art of Flex (the dance) to the forefront of the public’s eye. We were inspired by the fluidity of the dancers as well as the movement’s Brooklyn roots.
We worked together seamlessly to research competitors and inspiration, as well as design the UX/UI with new branded assets. A key achievement was organizing Flex’s three separate programs so they were individualized, but told one cohesive narrative.
